If anyone has a way to simplify this even further (sans the "trolly" response of "get a windows machine"), please add.EDuke 32 is basically a launcher for Duke Nukem 3D that tweaks the game to make it more Get Duke Nukem 3D Atomic edition working natively on your linux system with the Eduke 32 client. I tried to create a package that would just run the terminal commands to start the game, but alas, I failed. I hope this helps any Mac users in playing some awesome games. (NOTE: How I changed the GRP from "gDNF" to "gDUKE3D", which I got from the /classic/ file in Duke 3D's steam folder, and I changed "n" to "n" - which i reflective in the Duke Forces Mod Pack. Then I typed in “ /Applications/EDuke32/EDuke32.app/Contents/MacOS/EDuke32 -usecwd -j/Users/$(whoami)/Library/Application\ Support/EDuke32/ -gDUKE3D.GRP n” Typed in “cd /Users//Downloads/DukeForces” (instead of DNF)Ħ. Copied the "p" into the ~/Downloads/DukeForces folderĥ. Went to Steam's Common Folder, then Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot/classicĤ. Downloaded DukeForces, saved to ~/Downloads/DukeForces/Ĥ. Created in ~/Library/Application Support/EDuke32 folder (not sure if needed)ģ.
